The practice

What this practice holds to

Six commitments, and what each one costs. Every one of them is a decision that could have gone the other way, and the reason it did not is written next to it.

Most pages of this kind describe what a practice offers. That is on the method page, and the person doing the work is on his own page. This one is narrower and more useful. It is the list of things saswatlife will not trade away, so you can decide whether this is your kind of room before you give it ten minutes.

  1. The reading stays open to everybody.

Every piece in the library is readable without an account, without a fee, and without answering anything first. It will stay that way. The reading is the front door, and a front door you have to pay to look through is a wall.

The costThe most useful thing here is the part you can take without ever speaking to me.

  2. One person does all of it.

Every call, every Diagnosis, and every hour of the work is Natraj Thapa's. There is no team, no associate, and nobody your file gets passed to once you have paid.

The costA small number of people at a time, and sometimes a wait. Attention is the product, and it does not scale.

  3. Nothing is diagnosed from a form.

The free assessment reports what you say about yourself. That is genuinely useful and it is not a diagnosis, because three of the five dimensions cannot be self observed at all. Nobody hears their own pace, sees their own stillness, or watches a face while they are still talking.

The costThe free instrument cannot finish the job, and every report says so plainly instead of implying otherwise.

  4. What it costs is said to you, not to the internet.

No figure appears anywhere on this site. What the work costs is written to you directly, before anything is booked, and never after.

The costYou cannot compare it in a browser tab against three other people at two in the morning. You have to ask.

  5. Nothing renews itself.

Time on the work runs for a fixed term with an end date. When it ends, it ends, and you are told a week beforehand that it is going to. Nothing quietly bills again, and nothing you logged is deleted.

The costContinuing has to be chosen again, deliberately, every time. That is more friction than a subscription and it is the point.

  6. You are told the actual problem.

The work names one specific thing that is failing and what it will take to correct it. Not your ability in general, and not a course of encouragement with a certificate at the end of it.

The costSome people would rather be encouraged, and they are better served somewhere else. That is a real answer, not a rejection.

Where it runs from

saswatlife is run from India, and the work happens live, wherever you are. The reading is the open half of it and the rest is small on purpose. If you want to see how the work itself is structured, that is the method. If you want to know who you would actually be sitting with, that is Natraj.

If that reads like your kind of room, it starts the same way for everybody.
