Reaching saswatlife
One person answers everything here, which is the reason the channels are few and the reply times are stated rather than implied.
The two ways in
Write
Questions, invitations, press, anything that suits a letter, and anything you would rather put in writing.
Reply Within one working day. Never later than two.
Message
Tap the number to call, or open WhatsApp below with the first line already written so you are not staring at an empty box.
Open WhatsAppReply Usually the same day, within working hours.
Or write from here
If clicking an email address does nothing on your machine, which is common on a work laptop, this reaches me the same way. Nothing here is stored beyond ninety days.
Where the reply goes. Nothing else is sent to it.
A line or two is enough. The more specific it is, the more useful the reply.
It reached me.
A copy is on its way to your address so you know it landed. I read every one myself, and a reply comes within one working day, never later than two.
While you wait, The Signal takes ten minutes and will make whatever I write back more useful.
If you are here about your own communication
Start here
Ten minutes of questions you answer on your own, and a report showing where your own answers point. Nothing to book and nothing to pay. Everything else opens after it.
Then
Fifteen minutes, live. You talk, I listen, and you find out whether this is work worth doing.
Or sit in
A room where one topic is opened and discussed. Sunday evenings, 9pm to 10pm India time. Free and small.
Or join
A WhatsApp group for people already doing the work. The way in is through that page rather than a link, because your number becomes visible to everyone in it and that is worth reading about first.
When somebody is here
- Hours
- Monday to Saturday, 10am to 7pm India Standard Time, which is UTC plus five and a half. Messages sent outside them are read the next working morning.
- Sessions
- Held by arrangement, including evenings. Time zones outside India are worked around rather than refused.
- Based
- Assam, India, which is where I sit rather than where you have to be.
- Language
- English.
- Where
- Everything is done live over video and voice, with people wherever they are. There is no building to visit and no classroom, which is deliberate rather than a limitation: the room you actually speak in is the one worth practising for.
Where saswatlife is published
Also on LinkedIn and X, both quieter than the four above.
There is a broadcast channel on WhatsApp as well, which is where new articles go first. It is one way, so nothing you send there reaches me.
Complaints, and anything about your information
Every complaint, including anything about your personal data, goes to the same person rather than to a queue.
- Grievance and data protection contact
- Natraj Thapa, founder, saswatlife. mail@saswatlife.com
- Acknowledgement
- Within two working days, from a person, saying what happens next.
- Resolution
- Within 30 days, and well inside the 90 days the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules allow.
- If you are still unsatisfied
- On a data protection matter you may approach the Data Protection Board of India. The privacy notice sets out what is held and why, and the terms set out the rest.
- Refunds
- Covered separately in the refunds policy, and returned to the method they came from within 7 working days where one is due.
Who you are writing to
saswatlife is a communication coaching practice run by Natraj Thapa, sole proprietor, registered in Assam, India and worked entirely online. There is no institute, no campus, and no branch. There is also no team, no assistant, and no shared inbox: whoever replies is the person who does the work.
However you write, it reaches one person and one inbox. There is no ticketing system, no queue, and nobody else reading it.
