A green room is where people gather before they go on, and again afterwards to say what they actually thought. That is what this is. Studio is the hour on Sunday. This is the rest of the week.

How it works

It is joined by approval, not because it is exclusive but because a group that anyone can walk into stops being worth reading within a month. You sign in, tell me the number you will join from, and tap through to WhatsApp. I match the number against who has arrived and let you in.

That is also why the number is asked for. WhatsApp shows me a number and not an email, so without it I have no way to tell which arrival is which person.

What is expected

It is not a broadcast list. Speak when you have something. Nothing said inside the room is repeated outside it. No forwards, no selling, no adding people to other groups.

The group is on WhatsApp, so WhatsApp can see it under its own terms. Everyone in the group can see your number and your WhatsApp display name.
