Intent and preparation
Framing
Choose the angle the message is approached from.
The gapThe message is reasonable and framed in a way that creates resistance or confusion.
When to use it
When you expect the content to be accepted and the framing to be argued with.
The steps
- Pick the communication problem.
- Write the frame you are currently using.
- Write three alternative frames.
- For each, ask: what does this make the listener notice?
- Ask: which frame best serves my intention?
- Choose one and build the message around it.
- Deliver it, and compare the response.
You know it worked when
You can change the angle deliberately without changing the truth of the message.
What else it works, and why
- Message
- The frame decides what is emphasised and how the message is built.
- Delivery
- The frame changes the emphasis and the way it is presented.
Which drill is yours, in what order and at what dose, is not something a page can tell you. That is what a Discovery Call is for.
