The gapThe answer starts before the thinking does.

Message · Habit gap · 15 minutes · needs a partner

When to use it

Any question you did not expect.

What you need

A partner asking questions, getting harder.

The steps

  1. Partner asks a question.
  2. Do not answer immediately.
  3. Take one controlled breath.
  4. Identify the core question.
  5. Form the answer internally.
  6. Speak it.
  7. Stop when the answer is complete.
  8. Repeat with harder questions.

You know it worked when

You can pause without looking lost.

What else it works, and why

Delivery
The pause is expressed physically, through speech and timing.
Presence
You must tolerate the silence without visibly rushing.

In the daily practice

It builds the recurring habit of making space before answering.

One of the five in the backbone

Which drill is yours, in what order and at what dose, is not something a page can tell you. That is what a Discovery Call is for.
