The steps

  1. Choose the topic.
  2. List ten possible points.
  3. Select the three most important.
  4. Select the single most important.
  5. Say why the others were excluded.
  6. Deliver the one point version.
  7. Add support only if it is needed.

You can tell the point from the material that supports it.
