Why that order
Stating the assumption is what makes it possible to challenge it. Left unstated it does the same work invisibly.
A worked example

- The team is resisting the new process.
- Evidence
- Three people have asked for clarification and two are still using the old process.
- Conclusion
- This may be lack of understanding rather than resistance.
You have it right when
The conclusion changes once the assumption is examined.
Mostly serves Message, and reaches into Intent.
A framework tells you what shape the answer takes. It cannot tell you whether shape is what you are short of, and for most people it is not. Which one is yours, and whether a framework is the right instrument at all, is what a Discovery Call is for.
