Observation and recalibration
Mirror
Make your visible behaviour visible to you.
The gapKnowing you looked nervous and not knowing what you did.
When to use it
Weekly.
What you need
A mirror or a camera.
The steps
- Deliver a sixty second message.
- Watch once for posture and expression only.
- Watch again for gesture.
- Watch again for what your eyes did.
- Choose one behaviour to change.
- Deliver it again.
- Compare the two.
You know it worked when
You can name a specific observable behaviour instead of saying you looked nervous.
What else it works, and why
- Delivery
- The mirror exposes the physical behaviour affecting delivery.
- Connection
- Expression, eyes and openness decide how you are experienced.
Which drill is yours, in what order and at what dose, is not something a page can tell you. That is what a Discovery Call is for.
