Message and thinking
Structure
Organise ideas deliberately rather than in the order they occurred to you.
The gapIdeas arriving in the sequence they were thought of.
When to use it
Anything longer than a minute.
The steps
- Choose the topic and write down every relevant point.
- Group the related ones.
- Identify the central point.
- Decide the sequence.
- Build: opening, main point, support, conclusion.
- Speak from the structure.
- Do not memorise sentences.
You know it worked when
You hold a logical order without a script.
What else it works, and why
- Intent
- The structure is chosen for what the communication must accomplish.
- Delivery
- A structure has to arrive in a sequence they can follow.
Which drill is yours, in what order and at what dose, is not something a page can tell you. That is what a Discovery Call is for.
