Message · Skill gap · 5 minutes · on your own

When to use it

Any question you are answering aloud.

The steps

  1. Choose a question.
  2. Sentence one: state the answer or the point.
  3. Sentence two: give the reason.
  4. Sentence three: give the implication, an example, or the next step.
  5. Deliver it without adding anything.
  6. Record it.
  7. Check that each sentence did a different job.

You know it worked when

A complete, understandable answer without rambling.

What else it works, and why

Intent
You must prioritise which three elements serve the purpose.
Delivery
The structure has to be audible through the transitions.

In the daily practice

Repetition is what turns structure into something available without preparation.
