The drills

Observation and recalibration

Behaviour replacement

Give the removed behaviour something to be replaced by.

The gapKnowing what to stop and not knowing what to do instead.

All five, coordinated · Habit gap · 15 minutes · on your own

When to use it

Whenever you have decided to stop doing something.

The steps

  1. Identify the unwanted behaviour.
  2. Describe exactly what you currently do.
  3. Identify its consequence.
  4. Choose the replacement.
  5. Define the replacement in observable terms.
  6. Rehearse it slowly.
  7. Rehearse it naturally.
  8. Use it live.
  9. Review.

You know it worked when

You know what to do instead, not only what to stop.

Why all five, and not one

Intent
The objective has to survive everything else that is happening.
Message
What is said has to keep its structure while the rest moves.
Delivery
How it is expressed has to hold under the same conditions.
Presence
The state it is expressed from has to stay steady.
Connection
It still has to reach the person in front of you.

Which drill is yours, in what order and at what dose, is not something a page can tell you. That is what a Discovery Call is for.
