Integration and transfer
Live application
Move one trained behaviour into a real interaction.
The gapBehaviour that exists in practice and not in the week.
When to use it
As soon as a behaviour works in rehearsal.
The steps
- Identify one real communication event.
- Select one target behaviour.
- Define the observable success condition.
- Go into the real situation.
- Apply the behaviour.
- Do not try to control everything else.
- Immediately afterwards, write down what happened.
- Compare intention with impact.
- Decide whether another attempt is needed.
You know it worked when
The behaviour survives outside training.
Why all five, and not one
- Intent
- The objective has to survive everything else that is happening.
- Message
- What is said has to keep its structure while the rest moves.
- Delivery
- How it is expressed has to hold under the same conditions.
- Presence
- The state it is expressed from has to stay steady.
- Connection
- It still has to reach the person in front of you.
In the daily practice
A capability that never leaves training is not a capability.
Which drill is yours, in what order and at what dose, is not something a page can tell you. That is what a Discovery Call is for.
