Observation and recalibration
Pattern detection
Find the thing you keep doing.
The gapTreating every incident as its own event.
When to use it
Monthly.
The steps
- Collect three to five recent communication events.
- For each, record the situation, the trigger, the behaviour, their response and the result.
- Compare them.
- Identify the repeated behaviour.
- Identify the trigger.
- Identify the consequence.
- State the pattern in one sentence.
You know it worked when
You identify a recurring pattern rather than a series of accidents.
What else it works, and why
- Intent
- Recurring patterns often come from recurring motives.
- Message
- The same structural problem repeats.
- Delivery
- Repeated vocal and behavioural patterns emerge.
- Presence
- The same internal state keeps triggering it.
- Connection
- The pattern keeps producing the same response in other people.
Which drill is yours, in what order and at what dose, is not something a page can tell you. That is what a Discovery Call is for.
